Canadians like to talk about the weather. It’s either too hot or too cold or just right. Whatever the weather, we’re talking about it.

Today’s it’s going to be really, really hot in Ontario. The Weather Network says it’s going to be 42 degrees celcius in Toronto with the humidex. Of course, you know we just had to find out who was talking about the weather.

Using the search terms of “Canada” AND “heat” AND “Humidity” this is what we found:

When it comes to blogging about the weather, the gender split is pretty equal.

Slightly more women are blogging about the weather but when it comes to tweeting about it, it’s the men who are talking more about weather.

 Sixty-one per cent were men tweeting about the weather compared to 39 per cent women. We’ve sampled two of our favourite tweets:
